LUXEMBOURG, Jun. 6, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Albania defeated Luxembourg by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Albanians fourth in Group G with 9 points. Luxembourg is bottom with no points. In their next game, Albania will meet third-placed the Netherlands on September 12, while Luxembourg will face Slovenia.
