AMSTERDAM, Sep. 8, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : The Netherlands defeated Bulgaria by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Dutch second in Group G with 17 points. Bulgaria is third with 15 points. In their next game, the Netherlands will meet Albania on September 12, while Bulgaria will face Luxembourg.
