SOFIA, Sep. 12, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Bulgaria defeated Luxembourg by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Bulgarians second in Group G with 18 points. Luxembourg is bottom with no points. In their next game, Bulgaria will meet Albania on October 17, while Luxembourg will face Belarus.
