CELJE, Sep. 12, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Slovenia defeated Belarus by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Slovenians fourth in Group G with 10 points. Belarus is 6th with 7 points. In their next game, Slovenia will meet Albania on October 13, while Belarus will face Luxembourg.
