GOMEL, Oct. 13, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Luxembourg defeated Belarus by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Belarusians 6th in Group G with 7 points. Luxembourg is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Belarus will meet Albania on November 17, while Luxembourg will face Romania.
