CONSTANţA, Oct. 13, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Romania defeated the Netherlands by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Romanians top of Group G with 23 points. The Netherlands is second with 20 points. In their next game, Romania will meet Luxembourg on October 17, while the Netherlands will face Slovenia.
