EINDHOVEN, Oct. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : The Netherlands defeated Slovenia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Dutch second in Group G with 23 points. Slovenia is fourth with 11 points. In their next game, the Netherlands will meet Luxembourg on November 17, while Slovenia will face Bulgaria.
