TIRANA, Nov. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Belarus defeated Albania by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 2-2), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Albanians fourth in Group G with 11 points. Belarus is 6th with 10 points. In their last game, Albania will meet group leaders Romania on November 21, while Belarus will face the Netherlands.
