SOFIA, Nov. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Bulgaria defeated Romania by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Romanians top of Group G with 26 points. Bulgaria is third with 22 points. In their last game, Romania will meet Albania on November 21, while Bulgaria will face Slovenia.
