Portugal beats Czech republic to advance to Euro semifinals
WARSAW, Jun. 21, 2012 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 : Portugal reached the semifinals of the 2012 UEFA Euro with a 1-0 win against Czech republic (halftime: 0-0) on Thursday night at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo in the 79th minute.
