Spain beats Portugal in shoot out to reach Euro final
DONETSK, Jun. 27, 2012 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 : Spain reached the UEFA Euro final for the fourth time in their history after defeating Portugal 4-2 on penalties (after a 0-0 draw) on Wednesday night at the Donbass Arena in Donetsk.
The score was still nil-all at the end of the regulation game time and overtime. The Spaniards finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 4-2.
