ISTANBUL, Mar. 29, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Turkey defeated Austria by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night.
The result put the Turk second in Group A with 9 points. Austria is fourth with 7 points. In their next game, Turkey will meet third-placed Belgium on June 3, while Austria will face Germany.
