ISTANBUL, Sep. 2, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Turkey defeated Kazakhstan by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday night.
The result put the Turk second in Group A with 13 points. Kazakhstan is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Turkey will meet Austria on September 6, while Kazakhstan will face Azerbaijan.
