ISTANBUL, Oct. 7, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Germany defeated Turkey by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday night.
The result put the Germans top of Group A with 27 points. Turkey is third with 14 points. In their last game, Germany will meet second-placed Belgium on October 11, while Turkey will face Azerbaijan.
