SKOPJE, Oct. 12, 2010 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Russia defeated Macedonia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night.
The result put the Russians top of Group B with 9 points. Macedonia is 5th with 4 points. In their next game, Russia will meet second-placed Armenia on March 26, while Macedonia will face Ireland.
