SKOPJE, Jun. 4, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Ireland defeated Macedonia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Irish top of Group B with 13 points. Macedonia is 5th with 4 points. In their next game, Ireland will meet third-placed Slovakia on September 2, while Macedonia will face Russia.
