SAINT PETERSBURG, Jun. 4, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Russia defeated Armenia by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Russians top of Group B with 13 points. Armenia is fourth with 8 points. In their next game, Russia will meet Macedonia on September 2, while Armenia will face Andorra.
