YEREVAN, Oct. 7, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Armenia defeated Macedonia by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday night.
The result put the Armenians top of Group B with 17 points. Macedonia is 5th with 7 points. In their last game, Armenia will meet third-placed Ireland on October 11, while Macedonia will face Slovakia.
