LJUBLJANA, Oct. 8, 2010 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Slovenia defeated the Faroe islands by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday night.
The result put the Slovenians third in Group C with 4 points. The Faroe islands is bottom with no points. In their next game, Slovenia will meet second-placed Estonia on October 12, while the Faroe islands will face Northern Ireland.
