BELGRADE, Mar. 25, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Serbia defeated Northern Ireland by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday night.
The result put the Serbians third in Group C with 7 points. Northern Ireland is 5th with 5 points. In their next game, Serbia will meet Estonia on March 29, while Northern Ireland will face Slovenia.
