TOFTIR, Jun. 3, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Slovenia defeated the Faroe islands by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday night.
The result put the Slovenians second in Group C with 11 points. The Faroe islands is bottom with one point. In their next game, Slovenia will meet Estonia on September 2, while the Faroe islands will face Estonia.
