BELFAST, Sep. 2, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Serbia defeated Northern Ireland by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday night.
The result put the Serbians third in Group C with 11 points. Northern Ireland is fourth with 9 points. In their next game, Serbia will meet the Faroe islands on September 6, while Northern Ireland will face Estonia.
