TIRANA, Sep. 7, 2010 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Albania defeated Luxembourg by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night.
The result put the Albanians top of Group D with 4 points. Luxembourg is bottom with no points. In their next game, Albania will meet second-placed Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 8, while Luxembourg will face Belarus.
