PIATRA NEAMţ, Mar. 29, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Romania defeated Luxembourg by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night.
The result put the Romanians 5th in Group D with 5 points. Luxembourg is bottom with one point. In their next game, Romania will meet Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 3, while Luxembourg will face Belarus.
