LUXEMBOURG, Sep. 2, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Romania defeated Luxembourg by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday night.
The result put the Romanians third in Group D with 11 points. Luxembourg is bottom with one point. In their next game, Romania will meet group leaders France on September 6, while Luxembourg will face Albania.
