Euro 2012 Qualifiers : France qualify for Euro, Bosnia and Herzegovina face play-off
SAINT DENIS, Oct. 11, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : France tied 1-1 with Bosnia and Herzegovina (halftime: 0-1), in a Euro qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Stade de France in Saint Denis.
The Bosnians started off well by taking the lead thanks to Bosnian forward Edin Džeko in the 40th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by France with a saving goal from French midfielder Samir Nasri on penalty in the 77th minute.
France secured their ticket to the finals but Bosnia and Herzegovina will have to go through the playoffs.Fixtures and Results : Group D
