HELSINKI, Oct. 7, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Sweden defeated Finland by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday night.
The result put the Swedish second in Group E with 21 points. Finland is fourth with 9 points. In their last game, Sweden will meet group leaders the Netherlands on October 11, while Finland will face Hungary.
