TEL AVIV, Mar. 29, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Israel defeated Georgia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night.
The result put the Israelians third in Group F with 10 points. Georgia is fourth with 9 points. In their next game, Israel will meet Latvia on June 4, while Georgia will face Croatia.
