TEL AVIV, Sep. 2, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Greece defeated Israel by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday afternoon.
The result put the Greek top of Group F with 17 points. Israel is third with 13 points. In their next game, Greece will meet Latvia on September 6, while Israel will face Croatia.
