ZAGREB, Sep. 6, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Croatia defeated Israel by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night.
The result put the Croatians top of Group F with 19 points. Israel is third with 13 points. In their next game, Croatia will meet second-placed Greece on October 7, while Israel will face Malta.
