REYKJAVíK, Oct. 12, 2010 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Portugal defeated Iceland by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night.
The result put the Portuguese second in Group H with 7 points. Iceland is bottom with no points. In their next game, Portugal will meet group leaders Norway on June 4, while Iceland will face Cyprus.
