REYKJAVíK, Jun. 4, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Denmark defeated Iceland by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Dane top of Group H with 10 points. Iceland is bottom with one point. In their next game, Denmark will meet second-placed Norway on September 6, while Iceland will face Norway.
