OSLO, Sep. 2, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Norway defeated Iceland by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Friday night.
The result put the Norvegians top of Group H with 13 points. Iceland is bottom with one point. In their next game, Norway will meet third-placed Denmark on September 6, while Iceland will face Cyprus.
