GLASGOW, Sep. 6, 2011 (AMP) — Poland Ukraine 2012 (Qualifiers) : Scotland defeated Lithuania by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night.
The result put the Scot third in Group I with 8 points. Lithuania is fourth with 5 points. In their next game, Scotland will meet Liechtenstein on October 8, while Lithuania will face Czech republic.
