Wales beats Belgium to advance to Euro semifinals
VILLENEUVE-D'ASCQ, Jul. 1, 2016 (AMP) — France 2016 : Wales reached the semifinals of the 2016 UEFA Euro with a 3-1 win against Belgium (halftime: 1-1) on Friday night at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Villeneuve-d'Ascq.
Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Wales catch up in the 31st minute thanks to A. Williams. 1-1 at half time. The Welshs eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Robson-Kanu ('55) and Vokes ('86).
