France beats Germany to reach Euro final
MARSEILLE, Jul. 7, 2016 (AMP) — France 2016 : France reached the UEFA Euro final for the third time in their history with a 2-0 win against Germany (halftime: 1-0) on Thursday night at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille.
Antoine Griezmann scored dual goals
France dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Antoine Griezmann in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Frenchs further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Griezmann in the 72nd minute.
