Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Czech republic beats Kazakhstan 4-2
ASTANA, Oct. 13, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Czech republic defeated Kazakhstan by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Monday night at the Astana Arena.
Czech republic dominated the first half thanks to goals from Dočkal ('13) and Lafata ('44). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Czechs further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Krejčí '56 and Necid '88).
The result put the Czech top of Group A with 9 points. Kazakhstan is 5th with one point. In their next game, Czech republic will meet second-placed Iceland at the Astana Arena on November 16, while Kazakhstan will face Turkey.
