KONYA, Sep. 3, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Turkey tied 1-1 with Latvia (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Thursday night at the Torku Arena in Konya.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, İnan ('77) for Turkey, Šabala ('90) for Latvia.
The result put the Turk fourth in Group A with 9 points. Latvia is 5th with 4 points. In their next game, Turkey will meet third-placed the Netherlands at the Torku Arena on September 6, while Latvia will face Czech republic.
