PRAGUE, Oct. 10, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Turkey defeated Czech republic by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night at the Generali Arena in Prague.
45 minutes of play and neither the Turks nor the Czechs have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by İnan ('62 on penalty) and Çalhanoğlu ('79).
The result put the Czech second in Group A with 19 points. Turkey is third with 15 points. In their last game, Czech republic will meet the Netherlands at the Generali Arena on October 13, while Turkey will face Iceland.
