Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Wales beats Andorra 2-1
ANDORRA LA VELLA, Sep. 9, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Wales defeated Andorra by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night at the Estadi Nacional d'Andorra.
Gareth Bale scored dual goals
Lima opened the score in the 6th minute on penalty, before seeing Wales catch up in the 22nd minute thanks to Gareth Bale. 1-1 at half time. The Welshs eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Bale with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
The result put the Welsh top of Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Wales will meet Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Estadi Nacional d'Andorra on October 10, while Andorra will face Belgium.
