Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Belgium beats Andorra 6-0
BRUSSELS, Oct. 10, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Belgium defeated Andorra by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Friday night at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels.
Kevin De Bruyne and Dries Mertens scored dual goals
Belgium dominated the first half thanks to goals from Kevin De Bruyne ('31 on penalty, '34) and Chadli ('37). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Belgians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Origi '59 and Mertens '65, '68).
The result put the Belgians second in Group B with 3 points. Andorra is bottom with no points. In their next game, Belgium will meet Bosnia and Herzegovina at the King Baudouin Stadium on October 13, while Andorra will face Israel.
