Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Israel beats Andorra 4-1
ANDORRA LA VELLA, Oct. 13, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Israel defeated Andorra by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Monday night at the Estadi Nacional d'Andorra.
Omer Damari scored tripple goals
Israel dominated the first half thanks to goals from Damari ('3, '41). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Israelians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Damari '82 and Hemed '90/penalty).
The result put the Israelians second in Group B with 6 points. Andorra is bottom with no points. In their next game, Israel will meet Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Estadi Nacional d'Andorra on November 16, while Andorra will face Cyprus.
