CARDIFF, Oct. 13, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Wales defeated Cyprus by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Monday night at the Cardiff City Stadium.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from David Cotterill ('13) and Hal Robson-Kanu ('23).
The result put the Welsh top of Group B with 7 points. Cyprus is fourth with 3 points. In their next game, Wales will meet third-placed Belgium at the Cardiff City Stadium on November 16, while Cyprus will face Andorra.
