JERUSALEM, Mar. 31, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Belgium defeated Israel by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night at the Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem.
All the action happened in the first half, with Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini goal in the 9th minute.
The result put the Belgians top of Group B with 11 points. Israel is third with 9 points. In their next game, Belgium will meet second-placed Wales at the Teddy Stadium on June 12, while Israel will face Bosnia and Herzegovina.
