Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Bosnia and Herzegovina beats Israel 3-1
ZENICA, Jun. 12, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Israel by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Friday night at the Bilino Polje in Zenica.
Edin Višća scored dual goals
Israel opened the score in the score in the 41st minute thanks to Ben Haim II, before Bosnia and Herzegovina regained the advantage with Višća ('42) and Džeko ('45 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Bosnians further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Višća in the 75th minute.
The result put the Israelians fourth in Group B with 9 points. Bosnia and Herzegovina is 5th with 8 points. In their next game, Israel will meet Andorra at the Bilino Polje on September 3, while Bosnia and Herzegovina will face Belgium.
