Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Belgium beats Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-1
BRUSSELS, Sep. 3, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Belgium defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Thursday night at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels.
Bosnia and Herzegovina opened the score in the score in the 15th minute thanks to Edin Džeko, before Belgium regained the advantage with Fellaini ('23) and Kevin De Bruyne ('44). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Belgians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hazard on penalty in the 78th minute.
The result put the Belgians second in Group B with 14 points. Bosnia and Herzegovina is 5th with 8 points. In their next game, Belgium will meet Cyprus at the King Baudouin Stadium on September 6, while Bosnia and Herzegovina will face Andorra.
