KIEV, Sep. 8, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Slovakia defeated Ukraine by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Monday night at the Kiev Olympic Stadium.
All the action happened in the first half, with Mak goal in the 17th minute.
The result put the Slovak second in Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Slovakia will meet group leaders Spain at the Kiev Olympic Stadium on October 9, while Ukraine will face Belarus.
