HUELVA, Nov. 15, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Spain defeated Belarus by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night at the Nuevo Colombino in Huelva.
Spain dominated the first half thanks to goals from Isco ('18) and Busquets ('19). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Spaniards further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pedro in the 55th minute.
The result put the Spaniard second in Group C with 9 points. Belarus is 5th with one point. In their next game, Spain will meet third-placed Ukraine at the Nuevo Colombino on March 27, while Belarus will face Macedonia.
