Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Slovakia beats Luxembourg 3-0
ŽILINA, Mar. 27, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Slovakia defeated Luxembourg by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Friday night at the Štadión pod Dubňom in Žilina.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Adam Nemec ('10), Vladimír Weiss ('21) and Peter Pekarik ('40).
The result put the Slovak top of Group C with 15 points. Luxembourg is bottom with one point. In their next game, Slovakia will meet Macedonia at the Štadión pod Dubňom on June 14, while Luxembourg will face Ukraine.
