SEVILLE, Mar. 27, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Spain defeated Ukraine by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Friday night at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in Seville.
All the action happened in the first half, with Spanish striker Álvaro Morata goal in the 28th minute.
The result put the Spaniard second in Group C with 12 points. Ukraine is third with 9 points. In their next game, Spain will meet Belarus at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium on June 14, while Ukraine will face Luxembourg.
